  What have I gained from WRCM 102 and how do I think this will help me for the rest of my time at FCC? WRCM 102 as a course has been the most creative, intriguing and appealing course for me since it was always fun and like a leisure activity to do the tasks for it. It was so interactive that I had fun not only with the course work but also with the teacher and my sessions with him as well. My concepts of writing, speaking, presenting, speech delivery, and expressing were greatly enhanced. I also learnt a lot of new things which I can apply in other courses as well, such as a high boost in confidence and polished personality.  How well do I think I performed in this class? I was solely attentive towards learning and polishing myself during this course. My grade, in my opinion would have improved automatically as learning and studying in this course was made interactive.  Finally it was time to write the final research paper and get it all done with. All the tasks that I had done in the entire WRCM 102 course were finally coming to an end. This was a 2000-2500 word persuasive paper in which I had to pull together all that I had learnt this semester, including the analyzing the field of discourse surrounding my controversy and explaining how my argument is better than those put forth by others who weigh in on the topic.  This was the final assignment for our WRCM 102 course in which we had to take one interesting aspect from our entire research and create a 16 slide presentation about it. I had fun making this since it was an animation filled and appealing presentation with a lot of informative content on the aspect that I really found interesting.  This is an embedded Microsoft Office presentation, powered by Office .

 We had to create a survey for our research in which data was to be collected from individuals through a survey that we had to create and spread out to a group of target audience for our topics. My target audience was supposed to be young adults and high school students who know what Artificial Intelligence is and people who know about this field. After the submission of this document of mine, my teacher pointed out that such detailed analyzing of each and every answer was not required which meant that I uselessly ended up doing too much work.  Next we were given a controversy analysis paper assignment where we had to write a CAP in which we mention two sides of an argument to my topic of "Artificial Intelligence and its impacts on the human society" and support one side with proper evidence being given.  We had to attach an annotated bibliography with our research proposal hence we were first given a worksheet fill to prepare for it. That was the OPVL worksheet that listed all the sources I will be taking a reference from and what keywords are talked about within that reference which are also relevant to my research topic. The questions answered in this worksheet were : Origin : Is there anything special we need to know about the origin of the source? How credible is the source? Is the source biased towards a point of view? Purpose : What makes it important to your research? Value : What specific information does the source contain that will help your case? Limitation : What weaknesses are there within the source?  Now that we had filled the proposal worksheet, we had to write a proposal now. It was to be 2-3 pages long and mine was a full 2 page proposal. The APA format had to be followed and the proposal had to cover the following points :  brief introduction of the topic and what I know so far justification of why I chose this topic  why is it interesting to me why is the topic relevant and pertinent to our daily lives research plan (where to find such information, steps to gather this information and what are the keywords for this topic).  Following is my research proposal : 

 The main task of this course was researching on a topic of our interest and working around it during the entire semester of WRCM 102. We were given ample time to choose a topic for ourselves. I could choose any topic since I had a lot of ideas with the help of browsing too. But personally I wanted to choose something that's highly interesting and not something common so that people read it with interest and show interest that they want to know more about this thing.  During this course we were told to keep a journal by our side in which I used to record what happened in each class. One class made a one whole journal entry for me. Towards the end, we usually didn't do much except discuss our exams or upcoming assignments so I ended up having very little to write.
